Founded by Nkgono ‘Malepena in 2016, Tseleng ya Badimo is an African Traditional Health practice that gives families, individuals and communities ancient wisdom and guidance at the edge of their fingertips. We value human life, particularly lives in marginalised social groupings, and offer counsel and guidance to individuals, families and communities. Our practice is founded on the implied code of ethics that guides traditional healers, known as Umthetho we Shoba. Our mission is to firstly do no harm, whether implied or explicit, by giving our clients confidentiality and anonymity- if so required. We specialise in individual and family counseling, ukufemba, cleansings, initiating and training healers into THP.
We use the ancient practices of mediumship, bone throwing, fire and water gazing, along with card readings to divine. Divinations (or consultations) form the basis of our diagnostic and curative measures.
We offer both in-person and remote divinations, however, any treatment that is required is administered in person.
Nkgono ‘Malepena graduated from Rhodes University with a B.A and PGCE, and from UNISA with a B.A. Honours in Counselling Psychology. She is conversant in Sesotho, isiXhosa, isiZulu and English.
Come on a journey with us as we explore what African spirituality is and what it isn’t.
